Where does the money go from all the Pie Day Sales?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For each festival year Braham Pie Day Budgets between $33,000 and $35,000 for the following items:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • City Permit fees, police officers, barricades, no parking signs, detour signs, picnic tables, snow fence, etc…<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • General Expenses<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Pie supplies & serving area: ingredients, pie tins, ice cream, drinks, paper products, clean up<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • School rental: Commercial kitchen, staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Performers, sound system, kids and berries presenters & craft items<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Advertising: newspapers, billboards, radio commercials, banners<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Merchandise: cookbooks, t-shirts, buttons, towels etc.\u2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Postage and craft show expenses, ink, paper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Rentals:  tents, toilets, tables, chairs, office, phone, storage space, post office box<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Minnesota State Fair Prize<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Licenses and fees: Dept.  of Health, Electrical Inspector, and ASCAP, accounting \/taxes, detour signs (shared expense with the city)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Volunteer appreciation gift<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Park and Ride transportation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n


    For each festival year Braham Pie Day anticipates income from the following items:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Pie and ice cream sales ($12,500 – $13,500)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Vendor fees from food and craft booths ($6,000 -$7,000)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Sponsorship ($5,000 – $6,000)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Merchandise ($2,000 – $3,000)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    •  5% of B.A.C.K. pie baking contest auction proceeds go to Pie Day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
